Market situation and Progress of Flight Control Panel Project

Flight Control Panel work continue.... After the sad news about THE closing of ACES Studio i see that the market of flight simulation continue to grow up. It is a positive trend that it means that Flight Simulator continue to be improved with a lot of addon. I investigated about the Microsoft vision for the franchise and i ve found interested thing about a new group of people in Microsoft that bring our "preferred game" in Microsoft MGS Studio. I know that Microsoft started the design phase of a new version of franchise. Maybe we ll have more info in about one year i think....

For now i think that we should use FSX platform and discover all full potential that it can give us.

In the meanwhile i ll continue with my projects based on Flight Simulator (FSX and ESP). In 3 month i developed and refined various thing in codebase.

FCP will be released with a bounch of general feature that i ll tell you at the right moment, but if a customer or a company ask us ( flightonfly@gmail.com) we are able to analize and develop in a couple of month a full working custom version of Flight Control Panel based on a stable version release of our framework

Another Brick in the wall

Support for raise Real Time Failure Events and time trigger configuration.

This feature is complete and tested in Flight Control Panel codebase.

I ll post a couple of screenshot soon.

Flight Control Panel Feature Board

Support for raise Real Time Failure Events and time trigger configuration.

I start discuss this feature. I hope that all people have suggestions send me an email ( flightonfly@gmail.com ) or comment here in blog.

You' ll can activate a failure in the User plane loaded in Sim Environment (installed locally or in a network place). All planes that you have installed are supported.

When failure is active UI tell you the state through background color of buttons. If you want you can configure a timer or a particular constraint(that i prefer dont discuss now) for activate failures.

This feature will be available in both version of FCP (Microsoft FSX and Microsoft ESP based).

This feature is already finalized in codebase of Flight Control Panel.

More screens will be available soon.

Flight Control Panel Work In Progress

Hi,

sorry for another lack of infos but we are working for build a stable release for a demo preview. We ve added some features that i hope make this addon very useful for users. Now i can tell you a couple of feature that we already have implemented in core engine of FCP:

Support for raise Real Time Failure Events and time trigger configuration.
Switch all defined camera view into Flight Sim Visual Engine.
Set Real Time Custom Weather and Time/Date settings.
Set a position by entering lat/long, altitude, heading and speed.
Load and Save Custom Flight Plan , Flight Situation and Missions.
Connect to FSX and Microsoft ESP.
Support Network Scenario (FCP in a Client Machine, ESP or FSX in Server Machine).

I think that the release of a demo version is near but i dont think in the next 15 days. Every 2 week i write in this blog "work in progress status" report.
